This site is just not the same. 99.9% of the links are missing to Yahoo Groups and then on top of everything when you click on some of the links you are hit with ads for pay sites. Some of us don't have time for "discussion". We just want a quick wank for pity sake and easy access to the group selections, which is what we used to have.

If links are missing, it's because the group owner didn't put it yet or the group doesn't exist anymore. Personally I find this site much better than it was before, the only thing I regret a little bit is a group research.

We are currently working on implementing a search function for the links section. And also a better way of weeding out the pay sites. The past site failed because of the lack of funding, and advertisers. I am trying to find a happy median, that will not make me a rich man, but will at least cover the costs associated with running a site with this much traffic.
Any suggestions are welcome.

I like the new site, but I have to say searching it kinda sucks when I am looking for group.
I don't think the entire site should be in a forum format--unless of course each group will have a comment section in it for evevryone to speak about it.
That would actually help us who do post groups to know what people like and don't like about our groups and would probably help generate even more traffic.
But in the long run I do prefer the group search pages to be in a list format instead of a forum format up to now. But iam open to see what you will do next.
Good luck

I'm glad it's not just me - and saying first that I fully understand the financial pressures involved in running a high bandwidth interactive site... the old site was easy to find groups, and groups was what you got.
Now... I'm not even sure how to find the groups  All *I* really want (and it's different for everyone I know) is a searchable database of yahoo groups.
If anyone has any suggestions as to the best way of using the current format to do this I would be appreciative :D

$$$ €€€€€€ €...
can anyone recommend
a good site for my researches in yahoogroups?
