Description: Neesie was beautiful, successful, and in love, everything in her life was perfect, or so she thought.
Dante, Neesie’s brother was always looking for Mr. Right, but always waking up with Mr. Right Now.
Jermaine loved to talk about people; he thought that his catty behavior was his biggest asset, when actually it was his worst liability.
Washington, DC will be forever transformed as its African American Gay community readies itself for the biggest party of the year! Everyone who is anyone will be there with one question on their minds: Who's going home with whom? While some will come to mend their broken hearts and some will come to get their groove back, all have one thing in common: A One Night Stand! This book promises to deliver as we take a vacation from reality and party ourselves into oblivion with Dante, Jermaine, Kateri and Neesie. Sometimes a One Night Stand is all we need to be rejuvenated and revived. Everyone wants to be happy, but not everyone knows how to get there.
Excerpt from the Book:
An unintelligible wail let out in the room. Eric looked up to find Neesie standing in the doorway with a look of horror and disbelief on her face, her hands held closely to her face as if to conceal the disgust and pain that rushed through her. Eric jumped off of Shaun, even more surprised that he had finally been caught.
Baby, it’s not what you think! Eric explained desperately, while rummaging through Shaun's clothes to find his own. Shaun jumped up off of the couch, his sweaty skin sticking to the leather, and grabbed a pillow from the couch to hide his private areas from this unexpected intruder. Tears streamed downed Neesie’s face as she continued to try to register the shocking scene that play out before her, but it was plain that she was failing to understand what she had just seen.

Tyler Perry
Good Luck!! It great to see black men pursuing their dream.
Max Eternity
Although this is a fictional novel, in many respects, it made sense. It is a bold attempt to speak of things that often go unnoticed. This book delves into many taboo areas of present day society and that in and of itself is commendable. I would recommend it for reading.

I really enjoyed reading this book by Walter Wright. Why? (LOL).
You know when you are going through something and you pick up a book and your intention is to read the book for pleasure but the book starts speaking to you and you start seeing yourself or relating to a character or characters in the book. For me that is what this book did along with being a great read.
I enjoyed the characters as they are diverse and relatable. I know these characters along with sharing some behaviors of these characters.
I enjoyed Mr. Wright's writing style as he writes in a manner that is unique and totally his.
I laughed, I aaahed, I thought, and I was sad. Many emotions ran through me as I read this book and that for me heralds a good writer along with me scheduling an appointment with my therapist (lol).
Mr. Wright I applaud you on your debut novel and look forward to many wonderful works from you as you truly are a dynamic writer.
For those wondering what the book is about, well, you are just going to have to purchase the book (smile).
One Night Stand is a day in the life of several Washington, DC Metro characters all getting ready to party hearty at a party held later that day titled "One Night Stand."

I finally made the time to finish reading your book. I read from page 20 to its completion today and I must say that I enjoyed your book. It was definitely true to life, and I like the fact that you used some college level words. You definitely have some interesting characters.
The "bathroom" scene aroused me. As I mentioned, I had also purchased the book for my heterosexual employee. Again, I think he is questioning his sexuality. He describes your book as graphic. Later this week, I will question him in more detail about the book. I do this for two reasons: 1) to be certain that he read the book and 2 to help give him a better understanding by breaking everything down. I do think that your book accurately depicts the life of a gay black male, lesbians, men on the dl, etc., and it is entertaining. I look forward to your sequel.
