Help with Banners and codes

How do I add the code to my group to make the icon to link the groups to my group? I tried to add the html code, and all it did was staythe code with no picture. What am I doing wrong? Chuck

If you tried to use those and they didn't work, please tell me exactly what steps you used to adding the code, where, and the location, I will view the source and see what the problem could be.
